In this weekly episode of Thirsty Thursday, Ross and Jamie from Tait Real Estate - Realty Executives Saskatoon are making the Lemon Basil Martini Cocktail. This is a very simple cocktail recipe, with a fun and unique rimmer that will impress your friends and family. This might be a perfect cocktail to try out this Thanksgiving weekend!


THE RECIPE: The Lemon Basil Martini

- 4 oz Fresh Lemonade
- 4 oz Vodka
- Garnish with basil rimmer (recipe below) and a slice of lemon.
(makes 2 drinks)


In a cocktail shaker, add the lemonade and vodka over ice. Shake well. Use a slice of lemon to moisten the rim of your Martini. Dip the rim in the Basil Rimmer (Recipe below). Pour the contents of the shaker into the Martini Glass. Enjoy!


BASIL RIMMER RECIPE
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 7-10 basil leaves


Place sugar and basil in a food processor and pulse until blended into a fine paste.
