This weeks cocktail is delicious! Fruity and bright but not too sweet.


This week on Thirsty Thursday Jamie and Ross will explain how to make The Guava Blackberry Rum Punch cocktail.

Guava Blackberry Rum Punch cocktail Recipe:
Blackberry Simple syrup (recipe below)
3 oz Dark Rum
3 oz Guava Juice or Nectar
Club Soda
Blackberries for Garnish
.
In a shaker, shake together the first 3 ingredients. Layer ice and blackberries in a tall glass. Pour the mixture into glasses and top with Club Soda. Enjoy!


Blackberry Simple Syrup:
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup sugar
6 or 7 blackberries
Simmer the water and sugar in a sauce pan until all of the sugar crystals have dissolved. Add the blackberries and use a potato masher to squeeze them into the pan. Simmer for another minute. Strain the mixture into a bowl and let it cool completely.

Kombucha is a fermented Green tea with effervescence. We are using Parkerview Brews local Kombucha made in Saskatoon. You can buy it at several different locations across Saskatchewan.

The Kombucha Cocktail
1 Bottle of Parkerview Brews Kombucha in Peach Mango
1 1/2 oz vodka

1 Bottle of Parkerview Brews Kombucha in Pineapple Coconut
1 1/2 oz rum
.
In a glass, stir together the Kombucha and the booze of your choice over ice. Enjoy!

The Rocky Shores
2 ounces Rye or Bourbon
1 ounces Limoncello
1/2 ounce dry vermouth
2 dashes of Angosturra bitters
2 dashes of orange bitters

In a large glass, stir together all of the main ingredients. Pour into short glasses over ice. Enjoy!

The BEST way to enjoy fresh peaches that are in season right now!!
This week on Thirsty Thursday we are making the The Bourbon Peach Smash.
.
Bourbon Peach Smash
1/2 of a peach peeled and diced
4 mint leaves
1 oz simple syrup
1 1/2 oz bourbon
Ginger ale or club soda
Garnish with peach slice and sprig of mint
.
In a short glass, muddle together the peach, the mint and the simple syrup. Add ice to the glass. Add the Bourbon and top with club soda. Garnish with a slice of peach and a sprig of mint. Enjoy!
